February 10, 2024 - Still intact. But it's too ashy and bitter for me.

Better balance and more suppleness on day 2.

May 19, 2023 - Medium ruby. On the nose medium intensity aromas of vanilla, blackplum, black currant, dried cherries, cedar, licorice, chocolate. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium plus fine velvety tannins, high alcohol, and full body. The flavor intensity is medium plus with vanilla, dried cherries, blackplum, black currant, cedar, licorice, chocolate, toast, walnuts. The finish is long and full of fruit. Drinking beautifully now but could still go some years. A bit hot on the palate.

April 28, 2023 - Velvety, complex and beautifully aged. Medium ruby in color, no significant rim. Medium intensity on the nose with blackberry, black plum, black cherry, vanilla, cedar, a metallic note, wet stones, licorice and chocolate. Full bodied. Medium acidity, medium soft and round tannins with a long finish.

Carries its alcohol very good, only shows slightly in the finish. At peak won’t improve in my opinion

February 16, 2023 - In an absolutely perfect place right now - deep, mellow and sumptuous without being overbearing - 45 min decant - will live longer but I doubt it will get better - this was our 2nd to last of 12 bought in 2013 and I won’t wait too long for the last
