January 1, 2024 - Dark purple with a Blackberry nose. Delightful vibrant and fresh black fruit taste with a iron and earth depth mid palate but sort of thin & shorter finish.

April 4, 2023 - Orange, cherry, strawberry, rose, cigar. Reminds me quite a lot of mature Rioja. Elegant and complex. Drink now - 2025.

January 6, 2023 - Translucent darker ruby. Nose of wiry red berry, fulsome violets, saline, ferric notes, earth. Layers of red raspberry, strawberry hints, iron, and fine earth on the satiny palate. Well-managed, minimally intrusive oak notes. Filed off tannin and bright acidity. Longer finish of red fruit shot through with earth and iron filings. Lovely wine on this showing but has definitely upside.

November 6, 2021 - This Thibault was was very well balanced, with integrated tannins and a delicious purity and freshness. However, Alex thought the intensity of the bouquet and flavour on the palate were considerably surpassed by the Grivot Chambolle which had fab minerality all the way down, albeit delivered with less sophistication although that improved over the evening. The Thibault is probably not for the long haul.

November 26, 2020 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of smoked red berries - raspberry and cranberry, rose hips, allspice berry, clove, and cracked pepper. Open-knit red pomegranate and orange skin flavors on the palate, over a core of mineral earth, and dried floral & herbs. Airy and elegant middle texture, with slightly angular acidity, giving way to silky plush tannins. Finishing with moderate depth and length. To the lighter side of typical for this bottling, but well-enjoyed. Thanksgiving dinner wine so it went fast, could have used a bit more air. Recommend a few more years of holding.
