May 14, 2012 - 10 years of age on this bottle did it well. Dark fruit good acid and strong finish very much worth the wait.

March 8, 2012 - Full bodied with very sofit tannins. Drank with a grilled steak and it was superb

January 11, 2012 - The huge cabernet nose came barreling out of the bottle as soon as I pulled the cork. Great deep, dark color with a hint of brick red age showing around the edges. Gobs of stone fruit packed in here, black plums and dark cherries, rounded out with a tad bit of dark chocolate and a hint of cassis. Tannins are still quite powerful, but in a velvety sort of way that just caresses the palate. Long, lingering finish. Near its peak, but will likely last another two to three years before decline sets in. Yummy!!!

October 4, 2009 - Just a huge nose as soon as I pulled the cork. Great depth of color with a little brick red starrsing to show. Incredible cab fruit in the mouth. Wow! Wonderful!

October 3, 2009 - Huge nose as soon as I pulled the cork. Great cab fruit, tannins still a little rough around the edges, but the fat of a good prime steak will cut right through that. Fruit coming through nice, and my guess is this wine has another 8 - 10 years of life.
