May 12, 2018 - Past its prime but nicely mature. Nose of faded raspberry, black tea, and earth. Soft, mostly resolved tannins and still-fresh acidity. The 2002 Aux Combottes is losing its fruit without developing much additional complexity so should be drunk now.

May 12, 2015 - I remember tasting this when it was first released and being captivated by the gorgeous red fruit nose and silky tannins. The fruit may have lost its freshness but this is a beautifully balanced, mature burgundy. Very elegant and fine and still with those silky soft tannins .

June 5, 2012 - Burgundy 2002 Horisontal Tasting (@ Terkel): Nose: Celery and tomato juice. Young raspberry with a hint of vanilla and blood.
Palate: Fresh young cherries with a harsh acidity and a solid structure. Some soy and ink with a hard tannic aftertaste.
