December 23, 2009 - black color, very fragrant, balanced and ready to drink, smooth flavors typical of Ausie shiraz, not over the top but bigger than a Cal. syrah.

September 17, 2009 - Rich acidic nose, with a hint of blueberry. Definitely an Aussie Shiraz, but with a touch more elegance than normal. Rich black fruit. Slightly fortified-tasting. Sweet. I'd have enjoyed this more a few years ago, but my palate got bombarded by this style.

December 31, 2008 - Wow, decanted for 2 hours prior to New Year's Eve dinner of steak, mashed potatoes and veg. This wine was loaded with blackberry, vilolets and spice but in a very subtle and engaging way, no where near the typical over the top Aussie fruit bomb, tannins were very velvety and the finish was very smooth with just a hint of oak, wish I had a couple more bottles

December 24, 2005 - Great structure and depth. A wine for aging. Concentrated, chewy, loads of blackberry fruit mixed with spicy oak. Well balanced. Not a wine of finesse but raw power instead. Drink 2007-2015.
