February 22, 2022 - Couldn't be anything but northern Piedmont. Acidic, not much for fruit or florals. Reasonable Italian food wine, not a sipper. Be sure to decant through fine mesh as it throws a heavy sediment whose larger chunks break off readily. Can't see this improving; "smells brown" already. In sum: serviceable, nothing more.

October 31, 2017 - Hanging out with Enfield Wine Co. (Chicago, IL): Despite being super lithe and light, this is unmistakably nebbiolo. Certainly, it's of a slightly different bent, with its really elegant and airy red fruit and florals, and not so much earthy density and tannic structure, but it's bright, fresh, and easy-drinking. It's sort of like young piedmontese wine without the wall of tannin.

August 1, 2016 - (at Chingale - BALTIMORE) A super wine that boxes way over its price band. Delicious Nebbiolo that shows ruggedness and beauty in the same glass. Rose and cherries supported by a firm but maturing backbone. This is real deal Piedmont that is affordable and will drink well for the next 15+ years. Love it. (92)

October 20, 2015 - Nice dark red color. No signs of age. Beautiful nose of dark red cherries and granite. Palate is med+ and chewy. Black and red cherries for days. Slight tannins. Without a chill, the alcohol pokes through. Agree with Yofog, this is for aging.
