December 22, 2023 - Brought by a very generous friend, I was fortunate to try it, and the wine was very concentrated, with enormous amount of reserves, with intense chalky blue fruits flavors, ending in a tight and grippy finish, quite folded over itself, it did not provide the thrill I was expecting, and looked like a dusty Bonnes mares from the terre rouges side (Morey Side) than from this site. Can be cellared but at 24 years, I am not sure when it will finally blossom.

October 22, 2021 - Dark fruited and spicy. Dense and seriously structured. Lacks a bit of refinement/silkiness for Roumier Amoureuses. Potentially very long-lived. Have had better bottles of this 2-3 years ago, but no apparent issues or flaws with this bottle.

August 13, 2021 - Not totally off nose but strange, burned stem nose nearly metallic. Appealingly lifted palate with sarsaparilla hints.

March 5, 2019 - Big WOW factor here: no apparent age, fresh black plum, wet wool, and stone pit nose, really incredible paradox here of delicate feminine elegance, and raw earthy power. How can they coexist in one glass? 5 points better tonight than the tight 99 Bonnes Mares, surprisingly. Superb.

June 23, 2018 - Drunk at Epure Hong Kong - So bright in the glass, which is usually a sign of great things to come. Power combined with elegance - brilliant. More giving than the BM right now but that will be fun to compare and contrast as the years roll on.
