February 21, 2020 - Not done but showing its age and not in bright and full way.

March 26, 2019 - An Evening of Vinous Merriment and Majesty Among Friends (Craft, New York): Lots of acidity. Caramel and hazelnut notes. Long persistent finish. The acidity overwhelms the flavors a bit. Better with food.

January 17, 2017 - Dinner at Osteria Langhe (Chicago, IL): While this bottle was still alive, it was, sadly, on the down slope. The nose here was much better than the palate, showing some browned fruit, as well as a light touch of caramel. The palate though, was mostly just an acidic affair now, with not much else showing. Granted, this wasn't dead or shot, but it wasn't exciting either.

January 1, 2012 - From a perfect looking bottle, this wine looked fine with a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose took a while to open up but eventually showed pears, apples, and toffee.
A bit of bubbles noted initially blew off. It was rich and ripe in the mouth with the crisp acidity you would expect from Ramonet. However the wine seemed disjointed and not quite up to what this bottle should be.
Enjoyable but not top notch, this wine seemed more advanced that a previous bottle. -

December 11, 2011 - Tasted blind, this wine showed a light yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose needed 2+ hours to develop and showed apples, honey, white stone, and some burnt barrel char.
In the mouth it was ripe and rich but had great integrated acidity. it was quite "fine grained" and sophisticated. However, the char note detracted slightly.
This looked quite young and needed several hours of air to show its best. Thus, it should last 5 to 10 more years (if well stored).
