  August 3, 2018 - Vegetable notes of sweet peas, lemongrass accompanied by a bit of citrus fruit and graceful minerality (like drilling through a piece of slate and sniffing it). Light, easy-drinking, but quite a disappointing structure and finish. Hot alcohol on the finish. It's a shame to drink these kind of wines - promising on the nose, then shitting on your dreams on the palate.

  January 24, 2018 - A private dinner (Restaurant Vermeer *, Amsterdam, NL): For a Wachau Smaragd this is surprisingly light on its feet, soft but playful and fresh, without any noticeable botrytis influence, floral and peppery, with sweet but not confected fruit, a hint of salinity, juicy and lively, hint of carbon dioxide, mineral and pure; good resonance and length. Very drinkable.

  November 16, 2014 - Liked the wine. A tad bit plump. Enjoyed a few months back while at a hotel on Fuschlsee near Salzburg. Grabbed at an attractive price locally and glad I did....
