December 5, 2014 - One of the better Piedmont rosés I have yet sampled. Quite a few of the rosés of nebbiolo tend toward tones of cough drops, probably due to extended skin contact. Not this one. Well balanced, with bright acidity. There are some restrained rounder elements that balance the acidity and add some pleasing chromatic complexity to the palate. Somewhat difficult to find, but this is certainly a Piedmont rosé to seek out.

Such a nice rose, showing tension and minerality, bright acidity, tart cherry fruit and some spice.
Drink now through the summer while it is fresh and bright, but will likely still be nice next summer as well. -

April 29, 2014 - Yummy rosé, a nice peppery spice kick, with fresh acidity and tart red fruit flavors. Has a chalkiness to the med length, refreshing finish. Very nice rosé, lovely QPR. Drink now through 2015, sooner than later, it's great now.
