August 27, 2016 - A lighter and unique style of pinot noir. Pale red in the decanter with a lovely bouquet of strawberries and cherry. Earthy, woody tones with noticeable oak on the mid-palate.

May 13, 2015 - Jura tasting (Gabe's). A lighter style pinot noir, orange rind and Montmercy cherries, rhubarb, peppery. Quite nice.

  • Bellissimo Likes this wine:

April 29, 2014 - Picked up at Pike and Western on a beautiful Seattle day and walked over to Lecosho. When initially popped it was almost candied strawberry on the nose. Though light weight palate followed the nose with a little hint mushroom. Paired well with a couple of starters on the menu. Shared a couple of glasses with the staff. Later in the night this just exploded on the palate. Strawberry, forest floor, mushrooms a hint of soy on the finish. Light, ethereal and yet kind of a fruit driven wine. 12.5% alcohol to boot. Pinot from the Jura? Why yes!

July 7, 2013 - The Sampler Summer Tasting 2013 (The Sampler, Islington): Quite complex nose already: some earthy notes alongside the fruit - with a mix of strawberry and cherry - but there's also a sweeter, slightly perfumed top note. Real earthy complexity on the palate too and lovely purity of fruit. Transparent. Good. 16.5/20.

May 21, 2013 - Brightly fragrant, ripe black fruit, sweet spice, notable oak but integrated. Spicy med body palate, dry, chalky fine tannins, very light, strawberry, decent length, delicate. Lovely wine
