May 21, 2021 - Not very charming, but decent Barolo. Nice and classical on the nose. Dark fruit and solid structure. Disturbingly austere and green notes in the finsish. Got better with air, but still a bit of a disappointment. Questionable if further cellaring will help. 91?

January 3, 2015 - What a disappointment...especially for the price. Lean, shallow, not complex at all, lacking some fruit and dry tannins...will not improve with age. DO NOT BUY! Hopefully, it's due to the very weak vintage...

November 21, 2014 - Friday Night Double Blind Tasting $40+ (Bin 75): See through brighter crimson, small rim; classic young Nebbiolo, great balance, sweet tart cherry, slight strawberry, fresh, beautiful nose; young, softer tannin initially- more with air, noble, very good balance; nailed it.

November 7, 2014 - John's 70th B-Day Blowout (Sandy Springs, GA): Beautiful see through rose crimson; cinnamon, rose, red cherry, sweaty, deep, menthol; palate says it is younger, sweet tart cherry, tannic, slightly less balance but makes up for it in nobility; give this some time as I think it will reward 5 years of cellaring.
