October 24, 2015 - On the nose I get river rocks, lemon, and pineapple. The palate is like a slip and slide with the juicy entry giving way to a rich midpalate redolent of nuts and green apples, and finishing with gripping acidity showing more citrus and talc. This wine lacks the heft of the 2012 Richard's I had last year but is still one of the finest OR chards I've had to date. I think Marcus may actually be more skilled with whites than his reds. Definitely tons of gas on the tank on this one, still a baby.

November 16, 2013 - Low oak, only medium to low acid, and white fruits, pear and apple come to mind. Drinking well for the age. I dont think its his best effort for the vintage, but a great one to drink now. May go 2-5 more years.
