September 3, 2022 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2012 - Part II (Concept Riesling, Düsseldorf): Glass: Gabriel Standard
Tasted blind. Clear, deep golden color. Beautiful fruity and deep nose. Very precise palate, great tension and pressure! Lots of fine, sweet fruit, very phenolic. Very long finish. Beautiful! 93-94 -

May 7, 2022 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2012 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Sophienwald Universal
From Magnum. Clear, medium golden color. Dense and deep nose, some smoky notes, some rock flour. On the palate with more power and more of everything than the Ölberg. Also very mineral. Not as elegant and fine, bit with more pressure and tension. Long. Potential for another decade. 93-94 -

July 3, 2021 - Drank direcly from the bottle over app. 3 hours. Golden color, good viscosity in the glass. Unbelievably complex nose, like a ripe chardonnay. Salt, citrus, orange, a hint of honey. Absolutely gorgious on the palate, great depth which increases over time. Much more than a Riesling.
I assume it will be ever better in 10 years time. -

November 20, 2020 - Excellent GG from Pfalz. Golden color, beautiful nose, crisp apple on the palate and fantastic, balanced acidity with long finish. What a delight! Enjoyed at Vendome Restaurant near Cologne.
