February 26, 2022 - Typische mineralische Pettenthal-Charakteristik.

September 16, 2020 - Amazing Riesling, very balanced ... drink now, it won‘t be better.

May 17, 2020 - Pnp, a lot of diesel and petrol at first,
blows off easily with only ten minutes of aeration,
dense and creamy mouthfeel, spice and stonefruit, great Riesling flow over the midpalate, this is a mature bottle but with enough energy for further cellaring, long and convincing, ***(+- ?)

August 24, 2019 - Keller Pettenthal Großes Gewächs - full vertical tasting (2009-2017) (@Private location): *** view note in context of full tasting ***
    Glass: Gabriel Standard
Pale golden color. Closed, muted nose. On the palate typical herbs, zests and orange notes. More lean and precise then 2009-2011. Quite juicy. Medium length. Give it 2-3+ years to fully develop. 91-92+

July 31, 2019 - Nice nose, nothing spectacular, but nicely aromatic and pleasant. Smooth taste and good balance. Medium acidity and low bitterness in finish.
So much better that the last time I tasted this back in 2014.

Drank a single glass from this bottle 5 years ago using my coravin. Today I decided to finish it off. The coravin delivers as promised - the wine is perfectly preserved and shows much improvement since last tasted. Back then I scored it 82 pts. Today I give it 88+.
