July 30, 2023 - Medium tawny. Nose is of medium intensity with a hint of floral/rose, cedar, wet leather, red cherry, dried herbs. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, high tannins - ripe, and chalky, medium alcohol and medium plus body. The flavor intensity is medium plus with red cherry, dried herbs, dried plums, wet leather, graphite. The finish is medium plus with some fruit, some savory notes. This is a beautiful wine and drinking very well at the moment.

January 20, 2022 - Barbaresco is a great spot: strawberry, leather, cherry, soft chewy tannins, tobacco, prune, graphite, light to medium body, solid finish.

July 11, 2021 - Fully mature. Drinking beautifully right now. Wonderful nose. Drink over the next couple years.

May 16, 2021 - Baby barolo. In a good place but will improve with time. Definitely a wine to pair with rustic Italian food. Drink now with a short decent or hold for 5-7 years.
