Community Tasting Notes 3

May 23, 2018 - Showing some subtle fruit, saline, touch of acidity, rounded texture in the mouth, but a pretty mellow wine overall. Would have been more energetic a few years back. More and more, I find the best muscadets are at their best about 10-12 years out.

January 21, 2016 - Gentle decanted and then...what a bottle! Aged to perfection. This wine comes from a 2,3 ha of eighty-years-old vines situated in La Chapelle-Heulin, Goulain area. Aromas of cream, wax and white fruit. Dry-bone. Steely. Density, creaminess and good length on the palate. Delicious and persistent matching penne rigate soaked in arrabiatta sauce with shrimps and mushrooms.
An Atlantic wine? Well Nantes is close to the sea but I really appreciate nobody had mentioned.

Decantado suavemente y entonces...¡menuda botella! Perfectamente envejecida. Aromas a nata, cera y fruta blanca. Ultra-seca. Acerada.
