February 7, 2020 - PnP at a BYO restaurant. Excellent after 30 minutes of air and paired well with both seafood and poultry dishes. Ready to drink now, but no rush.

October 31, 2017 - From 60+ year-old vines, this has impressive sap and concentration in its dark cherry fruit and tilled soil flavors, turning to cool, dried autumn and tea leaves; whole-cluster; this is a wine of such force that it really requires a chill to cellar temp or the components start to lose balance, principally the alcohol (13.5%) becomes more prominent; not much experience with this domaine, but more wines like this will earn it a place on my Savigny short list with names like Bize

July 6, 2015 - Beautiful nose - this alone is worth the price of admission. Lots of dark cherries and earth. Very pretty and delicate. On the palate it's pretty great as well. Again, very delicate with just an edge of wildness that reminds you it's Cote de Beaune. There's just a touch of harshness and heat, but overall this is remarkably friendly considering how early it's being consumed.

December 20, 2014 - I like almost everything of this wine except warm, long finish with remarkable heat.
