June 13, 2020 - Red rose floral notes with strawberries and cream (or is that vanilla?). Silky smooth texture across a broad although not very long palate. Feminine, elegant and beautifully balanced. An wonderful Volnay that is superb drinking now.

March 26, 2014 - Burgundy Tasting (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): Cedar and cloves, forests, quite perfumed and elegant black fruits…on the palate black berry fruit then chewy, spicy tannin and medium plus mouthfeel. Not what I usually look for in a pinot but this is beautifully balanced. Needs time. Superb.

August 28, 2013 - Bibendum Portfolio Tasting: Rose, raspberry and earth. Palate has that streak of raspberry through it as well. Fine tannins and good length.
