Palate: muddled strawberries; medium finish with slight herbs; medium strength fine bubbles; medium- acidity
Overall thought: Simple but tasty. As with all Roger Coulon Champagnes, I love the softer, fine bubbles. Very good wine. -

Again, there are the nondescript red fruits along with minerality and a touch of bitterness. Finish is short. It's nice, pleasant, good not great.

April 22, 2023 - Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): This is a saignee so it spends 24-48 hours on the skins. 2 grams of dosage. Very fresh and bright and fruity. Mostly raspberries and other slightly darker red berry flavors. Very easy to drink. Pretty and still has some elegance which is a nice combination with the easy to drink.
