August 7, 2022 - Drank alongside a 2012 Chateau de Beaucastel. The Beaucastel outshined this Tablas Creek, but not by much. It was delicious.

May 17, 2022 - Medium clear garnet with some age on the rim. Beautiful nose of dark cherries, plums, licorice, and a savory understory. Body is balanced with medium to resolved tannins, still fresh acidity over dark fruits and a medium long finish. Lovely with pasta and grilled ahi tuna. No rush to drink but in a great window.

May 14, 2022 - Cork and bottle in perfect condition, could honestly go for a few more years before peaking. Smoked meats coming through strong, a real pleasure if you still hold

May 9, 2022 - Balanced Rhône ranger, I like The Tablas style. I like the blend. Not in the overdone Paso style. Good equilibrium.
