November 27, 2020 - Poured to a beautiful garnet color, and impressively maintains some primary fruit & spice character, with notes of mushroom and earth. Nice but not a powerhouse personality

March 14, 2019 - Jordan Whitehead Organizes a Great (Mostly) Burgundy Dinner (Boka - Chicago IL): Consensus wine of the night. So much spice with mature red fruit, brown sugar, floral flourishes. Mature and fresh red fruit in great combination with excellent complexity, good+ weight and length. Old school in all the best ways.

March 8, 2019 - La Paulée Zachy's Auction Friday (Le Bernardin Privé): 85 MM GE/CV side-by-side. Big nose of classic mature Burg loaded with Vosne spice and mature earthy red fruits. Silky and full on the palate. Mature red fruit is laced with earth and spice. Tough to chose a favorite between the GE and CV.

March 8, 2019 - Some Wine Tasted at the Zachys La Paulée Auction; 3/7/2019-3/8/2019 (Le Bernardin Prive - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Not fully forthcoming on nose, but complex array of mature red fruits and cooked mushroom on palate. Very good length. So engaging.

    December 23, 2017 - Pnp and drink
Nose: very fragrant gamy, tea and herb. aroma slowly emerging and peak around an hour
Palate: Smooth, tannin resolved, rich gamy, round, lively spices, mushroom, tea, long gamy finishing and bit dry.
Wonderfully aged grand cru, just wanting more of complexity to reach higher score. Already very enjoyable.
