June 22, 2014 - Light, dusky orange-copper in color, betraying extended skin contact. The palate is tart but weighty, with a lot of unfamiliar but very interesting flavors. A fascinating wine.

Needs loads of air to open up. Ended up in the decanter for at least three hours. Once it does, it reveals aromas of melon, honey and citrus. On the palate, melon, strawberry, almonds, citrus, and a big dollop of honey. Finish has significant acidity.
