April 7, 2023 - At 12 years from vintage, this is the oldest Spätburgunder I have ever tasted. Upon opening the nose revealed formidable fumes of red and dark fruit, soft vanilla aromas and crème brûlée. The palate dominated by sour cherry, pomegranate, vanilla, a touch of oak and black licorice. The nose outperforms the palate in my opinion. High acidity, soft to medium tannins and a medium finish. I think this has ways to go so I am extending the drinking window. 91-92

March 30, 2021 - Black cherry, sour cherry, some plum and beetroot, deep dark earth. Whole bunch. Some graphite, choc coated caramel, and fine minerality.

April 4, 2020 - Gooseberry on the nose and notes of cheery and some forrest pine. Delicate medium palatte, nicely integrated and nice length! Lovely wine and sweet spot now and few more years to come
