August 10, 2017 - This is delicious. Lovely golden color. This is a rich wine. Fairly viscous. Stone fruits, slate, a hint of petrol.

May 6, 2017 - Drank numerous nights over a week. Yellow/gold in glass. Best second/third day. Delicious, rich & balanced, moderately dense on palate, and the weight evolved over several nights. Modest nose that grew more prominent. Yellow stone fruit, pear, apple, bit of citrus/lemon, honeyed finish, nicely balanced acid/sweetness, minerality. Not so much the spice mentioned in prior notes, though I get the idea. I liked it and appreciated it more and more with repeated tastings. Will see how other bottles develop, as it has evolved from 2015 notes.

August 31, 2015 - Young and very tight but showing plenty of promise. Citrus fruit, slate, and bit of red apple skin, but all felt tightly wound. Hold.

August 18, 2015 - This was odd. Started off sweet and finished dry. Definitely a great wine but not really pushing by buttons tonight.

March 22, 2015 - Nose of apple, peach, and lemon curd. Crisp, with great acidity and just a touch of sweetness. Drink now through 2020.
