February 7, 2021 - Great wine! Great Boudots! There is no hurry...

June 10, 2019 - Medium red ruby in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of red cherries, strawberries & currants with overtones of floral & spice notes of cloves & cinnamon, earthy, loam, sandalwood, truffles, dried herbs, mineral notes & a hint of sous-bois in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, strawberries & mulberries with spices, mushrooms, minerals, herbs & a slight touch of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present. While it may be approaching its peak of development at 20 years of age, it still has some potential for further development with additional aging if cellared properly.

June 10, 2019 - Dinner with the wine group (Hillside Supper Club): Light ruby with slight cloudiness; nose is aromatic, youthful red fruits, slight more density, purée and more youthful than the 98; medium length finish. A lovely wine. 91-92.

December 6, 2016 - AB Christmas Bash (Chez Bruce, London): Really feral when first poured. Quite the wrong end of a fox. However, after fifteen minutes this blows off to reveal a very interesting wine with lots of sweet fruit, depth and complexity. Silky with some depth and elegance allied
To a plushness. Lovely balance. ****
