April 18, 2020 - I couldn't quite make it 12 months, but sometimes you gotta say what the heck. Enjoyed this wine out of a Grassl 1855 stem. Very dark in color. Super savory on the mouth, and a nice peppery finish. Tannins were soft. Was ready to go right out of the bottle.

April 2, 2020 - Consumed over two nights. A little tannic up front this opened nicely and stayed nicely balanced over two evenings. Savory/gamey wine with loads of iron, clove, olive brine and dark fruits. Said before, say it again, one of over favorite domestic producers.
