September 20, 2017 - Accident! I thought I reached for the villages bottle and accidentally took the 1ere. So much here to like including a restrained but richly scented and deep,visoucs dark almost black cherry center. Mixtures of plum, scarlet, dark cherry, earthy yet refined woody tones and so much promise. This is a rich Chambolle that will undoubtedly develop some wonderful complexity in a few years.Can be drunk now with an hour in the decanter but I would wait for the complexity to unfold.
March 21, 2017 - From Magnum. The nose is pure and classy; showing intense aromas of ripe berries, flowers, spice, minerals and a hint of blood orange. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and excellent finesse. The long finish features sophisticated tannins and great balance.

November 27, 2016 - Slow ox'ed before dinner. Very fragrant dark fruit, spices, a touch of balsamico and oak. Good length. I really liked even though I prefer more red fruit in Burgundy.

September 24, 2015 - Open and radiant notes of blackberries, sweet spices, minerality, also some oaky spiciness. It''s medium bodied with good density, medium-high acidity and pretty high tannin. Good length. It will take maybe 2-3 more years to fully integrate the tannins but wow, what a beautiful bottle!
