  February 25, 2024 - Deep purply red robe with clear/tawny meniscus. Deep, rich bouquet of black cherry jam, vanilla and licquorice reflected in the palate which is packed with black fruit, leather, cinnamon and saddle leather with a sweetish, licquorice laden finish.

  May 9, 2023 - Blackish red colour with tawny meniscus. Bouquet of black cherry and truffles. Palate is a rich mixture of black cherry, rich vanilla and smooth tannins with soft acidity giving a perfectly balanced, fully mature, deep flavoured red wine with a complex, elegant finish. A stunning Cab Sauv

  April 23, 2011 - Steve's Birthday Dinner (Dave's Italian Kitchen, Evanston, IL): Drank at dinner with friends & family so didn't give this wine enough time to open up. Cork split in half upon opening. Very vegetal on the nose and palate at first which faded with more time in the glass. Nice meatiness, and some dark fruit still present. No tannins at all, nice silky mouth feel. Wine is at full maturity, and will start to fade over the years drink up now if you got it.

  October 14, 2007 - Interesting - nicely balanced quite mature, decent cabernet character with a nice core of currant acidity. Lacking the extra dimension to be a great wine however.
