April 22, 2017 - I was a little disappointed with this - possibly caught it in a slightly dumb phase - the fruit was neither especially expressive nor profound: on the one hand, lacking the delicate florality one might hope for from a commune reputed for less tannic wines; on the other, not so intense and long you imagine it might go somewhere sublime in 10 years.
Nevertheless, a wine of this quality is never less than enjoyable, albeit I think I preferred it 2 years ago when first tasted. -

June 22, 2015 - Wow. Stunning dark fruits, long finish, even without decanting. One of the classiest Barolos I've had.
