Glass: Gabriel Gold
Unbelievable youthful pale golden color. Wonderful acidity, perfect balance, very youthful. Maybe a hint of cellar mold? Lean and precise. Not as exciting as the Nahe wines though, but a beautiful experience. 88-90 -

May 27, 2017 - Keller Open Afterparty (Weingut Keller): The Hohenmorgen still drinking well after 17 years on the bottle. Fully developed nose with yellow pear, white peach and a hint of patrol. Elegant drive on the palate although the wine doesn't have the last kick and tension. Slightly "watery". Medium finish. Good but not very good or outstanding stuff. Would drink up soon.
