February 4, 2024 - During a GE/AUT tasting. Rich and ripe nose with botritis as well, quince apricot. The palate is big, may be with a little RS, good length, ever changing aromas. As a matter of taste, I personally like leaner GG's from Germany compared to this 14% rich wine, but the complexity is undeniable. If you are a Sauternes drinker, try this.

February 3, 2024 - - Bright fruit, apricot, plum, hawthorn, botrytis, quietly full-bodied, complex, too little acidity for me. why will this wine be remembered? For its seeming complexity. Although you cannot drink a bottle of this, it is clearly complex and constantly evolving in the glass.
    - We drank this 'unendlich' in comparison to Wittmann Riesling from Germany. The difference was noticeable in the lower weight and drinking pleasure offered by the Wittmann. Although the complexity is not at the level offered by 'Unendlich'.

May 6, 2023 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2013 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Sophienwald Universal
WTMF! Next Unendlich that is not performing according to its price point. Certainly a very good Riesling, but cannot keep up with the very best. Lots of band aid in nose and palate, medium acidity, ripe, warm fruit, a bit hot. Medium length. "Never ending?" Hahahaaa... Someone tried to "built a great Riesling" and failed miserably... 90

October 1, 2022 - Intense bouquet with minerals and honey. Same on the palate, very tasty, a touch of sweetness as well as drying in the finish.

September 13, 2021 - Powerful and concentrated on the nose - notes of ripe yellow stone fruit, hints of tropical fruit, herbs, botrytis spice, minerality. Rich, concentrated, smooth on the palate. Very expressive and nicely balanced. Great minerality. Very long and intense finish. Impressive. Drink or keep. 94-96
