April 2, 2022 - Nice fruit and floral notes on the nose. Smooth well balanced palate with silky tannins, good acidity and medium finish.

April 2, 2021 - Has probably reached its peak, certainly has lots of life. Wonderful flavor profile. Great pairing with seafood dinner

    November 8, 2019 - 85% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 16.4% alcohol.

Not as bright on the nose as the 12’. More earthy aromas and rich fruit. Would not guess Grenache ( would have guessed Mourvèdre or Graciano if you know the story about Paso and Graciano) and a good whiff of alcohol. Full body, good amount of acid and tannins are softening up. Fair amount of heat from the alcohol but really nice mouthfeel. Some red fruit/berry, oak is evident and a bit of spice from the Syrah but overall this is a really big wine. Pretty straight forward big Paso wine and not a lot of nuance, a little clumsy but well made. The alcohol does overpower this a bit but still a good wine, would not expect this to evolve much or improve so would drink over next 3-5 years. Price at the time of purchase was a better QPR not sure current prices would be. 89-90

**tasted second night and did not evolve as expected. Alcohol is prevalent and almost syrupy and medicinal like cherry cough syrup.

October 5, 2019 - Enticingly floral with notes of crushed raspberry on the nose. Soft entry and more raspberry flavor. Velvet mouth feel throughout. Persistent finish. Still drinking very well.
