June 2, 2016 - Notes of lime, tons of minerals, rather austere with a bitter finish that detracts from an otherwise nice wine.

January 31, 2015 - Rieslingfeier 2015: Riesling Crawl: Green nose - herbal, starchy/potatoes, popcorn, saline? Palate shows bitter pit fruits and pits, popcorn - salt, herbal, vanilla. Herbal/green/wood finish. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 13.5/20.

January 31, 2015 - Rieslingfeier Riesling Crawl (New York City, NY): Very racy and green nose. Slightly peppery. Quite dry, and there are some very intriguing notes that evoke sauvignon blanc (think green fruit, and the faintest hint of feline urine). Fresh, acidic, and mineral -- this begs for food to go with.

December 18, 2014 - Very enjoyable Silvaner, hints of grapefruit now and then, interesting bitterness... Typical and very nice interpretation of the grape with good drink flow.
