November 25, 2021 - Suprise…the other hit of Thanksgiving, served w/ dinner w/ another red. Opened 1 hour prior. This was the favorite red by far for most. Nose is reminiscent of my smoker, smoked wine!…we all thought would be heavy in the mouth. Quite the opposite, med verging to light, no smoke taste at all, so calm and smooth from aged integration, and in such a great place right now. Stellar bottle from cellar to share at Turkey time!

October 17, 2020 - This shares some common traits with the VV but it is the deepest, darkest night. The fruit gets darker, towards the black currant, blackberry end of the spectrum and there is a distinct turned dark earth and leather note but it is the endless fruit on the finish that really captivates. I love the feel on the palate. It picks up a slight hint of violets on the nose. Really profound Morgon that I'd prefer to drink now as opposed to when it goes pinote.

March 28, 2020 - As others already noted, very drinkable right now; still deep fruited, with fine tannin, and good acidity. Went well on the first day with grilled chicken, asparagus, and mushrooms. I preferred the slight richness and the lithe acidity it developed on on the second day a bit more. Bought from a secondary source earlier this year.
