April 16, 2022 - Krotida Wine Gang Tasting, 2013 Pinot Noir tasting (Simul): This is a blend of different parcels growing at Pipers River vineyard, French oak barrique ageing, 13.6%
The wine shows beautiful, extrovert profile, elegant and spicy, floral nots, nice sour cherry, ripe red cherries and berries, cinnamon and clove.
In the palate, the wine shows joyful profile, pretty fresh fruit, red fruit, nice acidity, a touch of alcohol warmth in the long finish

June 16, 2017 - Bright cherry and ripe strawberry, with hints of coffee, chocolate and toast. It shows some earthiness as well (truffles).
Soft tannins and good acidity to balance its firm body. Elegant and well balanced, a middle ground between Old and New World, somehow reminding South African wines.

March 23, 2017 - This wine doesn't do much for me. The fruit tastes overripe and almost sugary with insufficient brightness and tannins. This strikes me as a wine for beginners; simple, pleasant-enough fruit flavors with little structure. But like I said, this is a pleasant-enough wine, and there's nothing that I affirmatively dislike about it (though I wouldn't say I'm a fan of the coffee-like oak aromas).

July 8, 2016 - Dark cranberry fruit and earth aromas. Room to move on the palate, with nice acid. Dark on the nose, but not overladen on the palate.
