May 20, 2016 - ALTRA BORGOGNA; 1/16/2016-6/6/2016: Vigne del 1940-1965. 100% legno nuovo per 20 mesi.
Boooom!! Naso da Batard-Montrachet!!! Zenzero ricoperto di zucchero, miele caldo, farina, anice e buccia di cedro. Ricorda le note floreali di testa dei diffusori per ambiente. Il profilo della bocca è simile a quello dell' Hautes-Cotes fragrante, ma questo è un mostro di estratto e materia. La mineralità è grave, sa di terra con i sassi, non ha nulla di aereo e angelico. La dolcezza del legno e della maturità degli estratti si sommano in una persistenza infinita, degna di un Grand Cru.
La dimostrazione tangibile che quando in mano a un fenomeno, il terroir di Vosne può essere d' elezione anche per lo Chardonnay.
