December 3, 2023 - Seattle Chevaliers taste Chablis and Gevrey-Chambertin (Seattle, WA): Minty, schist, very lemon/lime, salty and citric. Some tropical aromas sneak in with more air, and this loses freshness while gaining a slight oxidative edge. It's a nice wine but lacks cut and precision.

October 1, 2023 - Light pale yellow color. Fresh, crisp lemon flavors with sea and iodine. Very typically Chablis and very good to drink right now. Not as much depth as I would expect at 10 years. My only reservation here (and hence not higher score) is a faint suggestion of butter on the finish. Does this mean I should drink this soon before it goes downhill? I really don’t know, but I will keep a close watch on the rest of this case. Totally enjoyable for current drinking however so don’t hold back.
