September 11, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Wow, so elegant, sweet fruit core, endless complexity. A bit like a Rayas with more acidity and freshness. Off the charts wine, I have to give three digits here.

February 13, 2022 - Leroy Field Trip; 2/11/2022-2/14/2022: 1289/2632, breathed for three hours then splash decanted for half an hour to serve. Initially more reserved than RSV, but it opened up to reveal such a dense, focused and massive core. Pure ethereal blue fruit, deep spice, creamy vanilla, some stem embedded under, so classically Richebourg at the perfect balance. Edgeless, dimensional, so complete, forever lingering all around. It is such sensation that qualifies it as the very few finest of the finest. By some margin my favorite wine among a more than stellar lineup. 98+

February 13, 2022 - Remarkably pure and sinewy, albeit aromatically more sturdy relative to RSV. Compact, bottomless depth, and without a wrinkle - epitome of iron hand in velvet glove. Table preferred this to RSV due to its body, which I modestly disagreed. 1289/2632.

November 3, 2021 - Nose is booming out out the glass, robust, lush black cherry fruit. Opulent and ripe. Very in your face and obvious. Clearly Richebourg as well with plenty of spice. Fascinating comparison with ‘00 La Tâche and ‘99 DRC Richebourg alongside. The lush opulent style here is distinct from either DRCs. I like this a lot, but I would say that the La Tâche has more detail and nuance and I also prefer the florals. Heaps of fruit and power here and it is a very impressive wine. 96+

September 9, 2015 - One of 2 wines of the night for me. Lovely aromatics, nice structure that was more feminine in style. Nice fruit and a very long and lingering finish that left me wanting more.
