January 19, 2023 - Fabulous wine! Quarter of bottle shortly decanted - creamy, super polished tannins take over the fruit. The rest wine from the bottle - explosion of fruits, impressive mouthfeel, polished tannins with a captivating length. Deep, powerful and psychedelic. Drinks amazing now.

December 7, 2022 - A truly great Bourg, while still in need for a further aging (would say 5/6 more years will see it blossom out fully). Quite similar to the 2005 in terms of texture, depth and complexity, but slithlty holding back. Perfectly polished tanins, aromas of cedar, cherry, cassis, spices, bell pepper. Fresh, long and pure with lots of energy. Very much looking forward to tasting this beauty again in 5 or 10 years.

Gorgeous nose, complex and refined, red and dark fruits, spices, red pepper but nothing disturbing, the palate follows suit, deep and refined with enough grippy tannins to support, very Rougeard Like stylistically and a long delicious finish.
