April 9, 2021 - Fat and juicy with a nice acidic backbone. Racy combination of citrus and orchard fruit. Long legs. Quite good.

November 24, 2019 - Jean-Pierre Reniard Burgundy Wine Seminar (Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant): Tasted in Riedel white glass.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of mellow citrus lemons, creme brulee, light floral nectar and spice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity. with flavours of creme brulee, honey butter wood, ripe citrus lemons, pineapple, quince, ripe pear and hint of ripe golden apple, some spice (star anise was mentioned). Long finish.
Very good quality. Complex flavours. Just lacking some acidity and tension - well I guess that is not the style this muscular white is going for. Very nice drinking now already with some air.

October 1, 2019 - Pale straw-yellow. Mild reduction on the nose with fine lemon and lime, herbs and licorice. With time in the glass some very nice toasted oak shows through. In the mouth, the impression is over all very cool and fresh but it is still densely packed with some of the rich Morgeot Les Fairendes texture all balanced with very good but not over powering acidity. The wine has a little bit of an austere edge that takes away some pleasure and I wonder if this will come into better harmony with some age. Very good now and gets better and better in the glass. I'll probably wait on the next one of 3 for a year or two.
