October 18, 2022 - Double decanted. Really dry Syrah. Solid depth but not a huge finish. Ok. Not great

April 16, 2022 - WTSO Recent Wines; 3/1/2022-4/16/2022: Day 1: This one is not doing it for me. Very light for a Syrah especially from Australia. Almost diluted. Beef, light red currants, underbrush and damp earth. Mild spices on the finish. Lacks concentration and excitement. 85 points
Day 2: A little better but lacks concentration. Black pepper, light red currants, water, damp earth and mild spice. Shorter finish and bitter. Just not going to improve and I don't see any cellaring that is going to help this wine. 86 points
Day 3: Never give up on a wine but this day 3 is much better than day 1 and 2. More concentrated. Beef stew, green pepper, spice, damp earth and pepper. Still short on the finish but at least some Aussie Syrah enjoyment on day 3. 88 points
Recommendation: Easy pass as so much better out there for the money.

March 28, 2022 - Deep, dark and full bodied. Subdued fruit. Hints of black pepper and solid tannins. Good, not great. Will age the remaining bottles I purchased
