  November 14, 2023 - negociant wine. Opened for 1 hour, the overall experience was great. Wonderful nose, lots of red berries, rose, red fruits, everlasting with complex structure. The wine consistently evolved during the 2 hours. Very nice on the palate, fruits with hints of oak. However, the finishing was a bit weak for this 2013. Amazing wine with probably one of most difficult vintage. Very remarkable and enjoyable.

  January 21, 2023 - Turned more austere than last time (about 6 years ago), tuned down aroma and very linear on the palate with a little bitterness.

  April 3, 2017 - #4 of my tasting pack, 2013 Jean Marie Fourrier Echezeaux. Dark ruby in color. Raspberry, leather, wet stony mineralogy and sea breeze on the nose. On the palate its firm tannin hidden behind striking acidity, evident ripe pepper. Considerably more depth than those two volnays I tasted earlier. A remarkable echezeaux especially considering this is the negociant wine of Fourrier. #winetastingnotes #burgundy #fourrier #winetasting —

  November 22, 2016 - Closed. Very dry and reserved. The acidity stands out because of the lack of fruit.
