March 20, 2024 - In Beaune, sommelier recommendation. Sublime bottle that stunned the table. Million dollar nose of autumn leaves, cured meat, red fruit, greeens. Wonderfully elegant, lovely whole cluster finish. 96+

April 30, 2020 - Another 1er Cru 2004 Burg from Groffier. Back to back opening Hauts-Doix vs. Les Sentiers. This is slightly better. Light brick in color. Lovely aromas of florals, red fruits, asian spice, wet leaves. Palate shows a bit more sweet and then sour plums/bright red berries, medium (+) acidity, no tannins and a wood/spice filled finish.

January 16, 2016 - Still some fresh strawberry fruit; well integrated tannin and a warm slightly spicy finish.

August 20, 2015 - no 2004 green touches. Reasonably interesting, mineralogy.

July 21, 2013 - Drank very nicely, no 04 green streak.
