February 13, 2024 - PnP enjoyed over 2 hours; last sip was the best (and the first sip was great). Not too surprising that's it's still offering some youthful vigor, but there's also a fair amount of secondary development. In a nice place now, but if this is representative, it's still developing. Red-fruited, med>med+ body, forest notes, soil, Tuscan dust, etc. Lovely showing. I'll open my last one in the next 6-8 years. 15,0% abv. highly recommended

October 20, 2023 - The '10 Salicutti was one of the better wines from a tasting of 2010s. This has aged well so far and seems like it should evolve nicely for at least another decade.

On the nose, I found black cherry, grilled herbs / roasted meats, and sweet dark floral tones. On the palate, the wine was very finessed, medium in body with smooth tannins. The flavor profile was again on the darker side, but still fresh, with concentrated dark red and black fruits, savory roasted meats, sweet spices, and a hint of vanilla.

September 29, 2023 - Tuscan WIMPS (La Trompette): Quiet and refined in comparison to some of the wines alongside which it was served, this rewarded closer inspection with a lifted, floral nose, coffee and dark cherry. Slightly chewy and developed on the palate, some of the primary deliciousness fading away. Probably more of a wine to drink through a whole bottle than compare sips at a tasting.
