Community Tasting Notes 4

November 19, 2021 - Beautiful primary nose of dark humus earth, roses, peonies, other complex, heady floral scents, baking spice, Christmas confection and limestone mineralite.
Somewhat mute on the palate, primary red fruits, but quite dominated by oak and astringent tannins, becoming more prominent with air.

    April 11, 2021 - Dark purple-red.
Spicy, red fruited nose with prominent rhubarb and lilac-like floral notes.
Youthful, weightless, feminine palate, seemingly absent tannin, prominent dark dark, rose hip, orange rind, Oolong tea. A lovely, straightforward Burgundy.

October 14, 2018 - 13th Cellier Wine Fair (Hilton Athenaum Hotel): The nose shows red fruits, tobacco and gamey notes.
The palate shows more gamey notes, med acidity, ripe red fruit, soft tannins even though it feels a bit tight still (so give it some time in the glass to open up), med finish.

August 25, 2015 - Expressive aromatics of rose petal, red fruits, freshly grated ginger and sandalwood. It is crisp and fresh in the mouth with sweet berry fruit and some floral spice and some meat. It is elegant, well balanced and utterly delicious. The finish is quite stony.
