  July 22, 2020 - Pop and pour. In the glass, clear pale-to-medium yellow. On the nose, equal parts honeysuckle and oak. On the palate, balanced and clean, with a mix of floral elements and an oakiness that leaned towards bourbon or butterscotch. I think this is likely at its plateau, so check in!

  April 20, 2020 - This is the second bottle I've had of this, last one about a year ago. I agree with other note that this may be a bit past prime. It was very nice, balance, but lacked the tension that these can have. Paul Lato has become one of my favorite new world chardonnays, but this one was not quite there.

  February 11, 2020 - Did not rate as highly as last time as it seemed a bit too butterscotch-ery to me. There was enough acidity to keep it interesting but not as much tension or verve as I was expecting

  March 11, 2017 - Really elegant with a burnt caramel thing going on. Also some spice and butterscotch...and vanilla. Drank on PnP, but chilled to 50 or so...at 60 it was just a tad rough.
  Pauls' Chardonnays are just spectacular. Though the $5 a year increase for the Pisoni is a bit off-putting, I gotta admit, it's worth it!
  Glad I have two of the 2014's in the cellar ready to go.

  September 20, 2016 - One of the most interesting Chardonnays I've had. Very unique, singular but very delicious. It is a wine to savor, you want to spend time with this wine.
