December 4, 2022 - Really in a great spot right now at 10 years old. Juicy red fruits, perfect play of acid and tannin. Aroma of rose petals, red earth, and a bowl of bing cherriwa. Medium bodied and a beautiful medium garnet color. Lengthy finish. Highly recommended

November 19, 2022 - Americana + James Bond Dinners and Ang and Adrian’s; 11/18/2022-11/19/2022 (Byron Bay): After 7 other bottles and a martini taste buds were dulling. Prominent blue/black fruit and satisfying Nick’s desire for a more savory drop. I moved onto the scotch and will have to give this another go some time.

May 26, 2022 - Very young, still tannic; great potential in nose and finish, but not great at this point.

March 12, 2022 - Opened, and decanted. Tasted on its own and then with food (beef tataki, roasted eggplant, and soba bok choy, in case you were wondering).
    Ruby garnet color.
Nose offers some violet, then sour cherry, dried tomato, and hint of mushroom. Touch of oak as well.
Delicious bright intro with sour red fruit. Then fans out with mushroom, leather and cedar notes. Quite inviting.
Tannins present on the finish that add some body.

Highly enjoyable. Shows elegance and depth. This has the elements to age a bit but is delicious now. Why wait?

Re-tasted day two after saving 1/2 of the bottle refrigerated and under vacuvin. This remains quite good. Bright tart red berry/sour cherry fruit. Savory side notes add depth.
This is like a ballerina on point - elegance, beauty, and balance.

Quality Branded cork with name and vintage.
    13%abv.

November 8, 2021 - Pergole Torte lunch (Chicago, IL): Difficult to evaluate on account of its youth, but it's quite clear the pedigree and amount of raw material that this wine has. There's a mix of red and black here, as well as bright acidity and still plenty of structural tannins. The cherry notes here put this an a aldehydic/higher-toned register, but my guess is that that will settle down in time. I would love to revisit this wine with another decade on it.
