February 21, 2023 - Deep dark red. Lush fruit nose. Blackcurrent, plums. Very intense fruit, licorice, vanilla, oak. Generous and balanced wine. Long finish

August 11, 2022 - PnP, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, dark ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, plum, bell pepper, leather, and floral notes - violet. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium+ tannin, medium+ body, medium intensity, 13.5% abv with developing flavors of blackberry, plum, leather, and spice with a medium+ finish. Overall an excellent wine nearing it's prime excelling in complexity, balance, and length. Drink now (with an hour or two of air), or over next 3-5 years.

    Note : 16,25/20 i.e. 91/100

September 13, 2018 - Pop and pour, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, blue and black fruit - plum, black raspberry, blackberry, smoke, shoe leather, with hints of Asian spice and dark flowers. Palate: Medium-full bodied, sweet red and dark fruit - cranberry, blueberry, and black berry - attack, spice driven mid-palate lift, fruit turns tart in the back-end where minerals and earth join the flavor party. Finish: Medium-plus length dominated by tart dark fruit, minerals, and earth. Very dynamic at the moment but showing some harsh edges, expect it could use another 3-5 years to resolve.
