    January 14, 2018 - (3 years old - bottled 13.04.2015)
    Medium to deep gold colour.
Nose: Salty, tangy, green olive brine, fresh oysters, chamomile flowers, fresh ocean/sea water notes, lemon and hints of peat and smoke. (90p)
Taste: The arrival is tangy, salty and juicy. On the. mid palate there are several tangy, tasty notes of green olives in brine, ocean-soaked hemp ropes, salted-but-still-fresh-lemons, nuttiness and mildly smoked peat. The taste is really intense and deep. The exit is mainly nutty, with saltiness, lemon and hints of black and white pepper. The aftertaste is quite long. Fabulous stuff! (94p)
This (almost) 3 years old Fino En Rama not only proves that it is more complex and substantial than the already wonderful regular Tio Pepe, it also shows that these selected, unfiltered versions will keep and develop nicely after bottling. It is difficult to assess the future development potential but based on the youthfulness and flavour intensity of this wine I would estimate that it will keep developing nicely / interestingly for another 2-4 years (drink 2015-2022).
    Total score 92 points.

August 21, 2016 - From my very last bottle. Decanted for two hours. Endless salinity also notes of oxidation. Pungent and very long. Delicious aftertaste. Well-integrated alcohol.
Matching garlic and cayena pepper shrimps with radiatori.

De mi verdadera y última botella. Decantada por dos horas. Salinidad y notas oxidativas sin final. Pungente y muy larga. Postgusto delicioso. Alcohol bien integrado.
Acompañando una pasta radiatori con gambas al punto de ajo y guindilla.

July 28, 2016 - Speaking loud and clear, I opened the bottle last year it brought me down so I did not have high expectations for this bottle and yet I loved it.
The first thing we have to say is about colour, it has gone from one olive-coloured to straw in the glass.
On the nose is extraordinary with a complexity and endless range of flavors . For me greatly emphasizes that feeling noble oxide which reinforced which brings the concept of "en rama" for that subtle forehand that leaves its mark on your nostrils.
In the mouth , to give a defect , it is very high in alcohol but is that its density and its intensity can withstand everything.
    Little gem indeed.

    Joyita.

December 19, 2015 - Gorgeous! no other way to describe this wine even though we had it well after the 3 months suggested by the winery (had it at 9 months). Dark lemon with clean sharp aromas. Beautiful acidity and the flavours are not only penetrating and savoury but extremely long. The finish is long with the citrus and nuttiness continuing on for minutes. Absolutely superb and I am looking forward to having the next one within the suggested time frame - if we can import it quickly enough.
